You, like most people probably want to know which flat iron is the going to be the best purchase for the price. It can be quite a bit of work to research a flat iron. I love this iron. It’s the honest truth. I have owned several flat irons in the past 10 years and this is by far the best iron I have ever used on my hair. For starters it has a rounded barrel to aid in curling and styling your hair. Yes, I said “curling”. It’s a “twofor” (two uses from one product.) Most irons can produce curls but the MK4 produces “smooth and shiny” curls. If it can produce smooth and silky curls then you can already imagine how well it can handle smoothing out hair.

Ceramic Plates
I don’t know about you but I have used several flat irons and each and everyone has created static build up in my hair. There is nothing worse than walking out of the bathroom with your hair looking like it hates laying on your scalp and is trying to escape by any means. The Mk4’s ceramic plates promise to be static-free and it is true to its promise. I had no static build up and not stray flay aways.
The plates grip your hair gently without damaging it. The gripping action is very important in choosing a flat iron. An iron that grips properly and can straighten your hair in one pass is going to be ideal since it means less exposure to a heat source for your hair. The GHD MK4 flat iron has this technology and design so it will not damage your hair and instead can smooth your locks faster than most brands.

Styling hair
As mentioned above, yes it can curl your hair but its primary function and the reason why you are reading this is because you want to “straighten” your hair. It smoothed and straightened my hair with ease and with top notch end results. I have never have results this smooth.  It will produce amazingly smooth and silky strands.
