Folica had a great deal that I couldn’t pass up a few weeks ago. It was a sale in which you could take off $20.00 off any Sedu flat iron. So I jumped all over that and bought a Sedu 1 inch Ionic Straightener.

I was so excited when it arrived. It could easily be called a mini flat iron because it is small. It is no bigger than 10 inches long, it is extremely lightweight and gets the job done in a short amount of time.

Now, when I say a short amount of time I am not exaggerating. I timed myself and it took only 14 minutes to straighten my hair (after blow drying of course). This Sedu flat iron has cut my styling time in half!

I really was amazed at how smoothly it glided through my hair. Absolutely no pulling or breaking of my hair. The plates are super sleek and smooth in design to allow such ease to pass through your hair.

I was so excited about this flat iron that I had to tweet about it on my twitter and instantly I got questions asking if it was better than CHI. Now I know that being this brutally honest can hurt some “sales” for CHI but I have to be honest. I would never right a dishonest review because I would not be able to sleep at night knowing I was deceiving someone. It’s just not my nature. But to answer the question, the Sedu Ceramic Ionic Flat Iron is far better than any CHI flat iron I have used.

Another thing I love about this flat iron is that it really does what it says. It says it “renews hair with softness and shine. Eliminates frizz.” I can atest that it does in fact do all of those things. Right now my hair is in some desperate need for a hair cut to get rid of some split ends and yet the Sedu can make even the most dried and dead looking hair look beautiful and full of life.
