A CHI hair iron seems to be a popular choice among women that want to bring out the best in their hair style. Women want to look pretty at all times. In particular, we pay attention to our crowning glory. No one wants to have frizzy and unmanageable hair. So for those who find their hair unsatisfactory, is there hope of making it prettier? Thankfully, hair irons came to be. Now, looking good with desired hairstyles can be achieved in a breeze!
A hair iron is a hand-held device usually looking like a tong. It modifies the hair structure using heat. There are two types of hair irons: The curling iron and the straightening iron.
With these, curly-haired women can make their hair straight and straight-haired people can make their hair curly or wavy, thus putting on a different look.
Why Choose A CHI Hair Iron
The CHI hair iron, a type of hair iron product out in the market today, is probably the most famous among its contemporaries. This is, in fact, widely-used by hairstyling experts and aficionados.
A CHI hair iron uses a ceramic plate which has the capability to generate heat quickly and an ionic feature that makes the hair shiny at the same time keeping it from getting dry and damaged despite frequent use. It is better than other hair irons with aluminum-plated irons, because these irons have a higher tendency of damaging hair due to its inability to sustain a constant temperature level.
How Much Is A Chi Hair Iron?
A CHI hair iron can cost you about $48.95 to $148.95 while the CHI curling irons cost from $71.99 to $139.95. Some of the highly rated CHI hair straightening and curling irons are:
- CHI Auto Digital Ceramic Waver ($119.95) – has an unusual 3-barrel design that easily creates styles. It also has an Auto Digital and Micro Chip Technology that quickly creates curls while giving control over the temperature.
- CHI Turbo Digital Ceramic Spring Curling Iron ($109.95) – has both a Celsius and Fahrenheit display. It automatically switches off and is available in three sizes: 3/4″, 1″, and 1 1/2″.
- CHI Wet to Dry Flat Iron ($148.95) – this chi hair iron comes with a stand and a heat-proof pouch. It also allows the temperature and time till shut off to be set. Although it can be used with wet hair, it is best to use only after hair is 90-95% dry.

Beauty should not be harmful. That is why one should always choose the best styling equipment and you will get the quality with a chi hair iron.
What Women Are Saying About Their Favorite CHI Hair Iron
I have very thick, wavy, somewhat coarse hair. I used to do nothing with it…just let it hang down or throw it up in a pony tail. One day a friend told me to try straightening it. So I did, with a Revlon flat iron. It did it’s job as good as I thought it would but then one day I got my hair styled at a salon where they used the Chi. I fel in love. I saved up my money and bought the Chi and have been using it ever since.
The Chi heats up VERY quickly and gets VERY hot. One of the draw backs that I have is putting it down on a surface it won’t burn. I’ve seen that there are “bags” to put them in after they are turned off, but seeing that i don’t have one of these the heat can be an issue.
Because the Chi heats up so hot it does a great job straightening hair! With most flat irons you have to blow dry wet hair so it’s somewhat straight and then straighten it with a flat iron. Not with the Chi. Now you will get, thinner, flatter hair if you blow dry it first BUT dry hair will straighten just fine! Also, because the Chi does get hot do NOT keep it on your hair too long. It can and will burn your hair if you hold it on too long.
Some people say that you need to use the Chi products to protect your hair and make it all shiny. I have never used any of the Chi products and my hair turns out fine.
